Major Tractor-Trailer Crash On Mass Pike In Auburn
The tractor-trailer flipped over at the Auburn toll booth.

AUBURN, MA- A tractor-trailer flipped over at a toll booth on the Massachusetts turnpike interchange with I-290/I-395 in Auburn, Tuesday.
The Auburn fire department said one person was rescued from inside the truck and flown to UMass memorial in Worcester via helicopter. They were joined on scene by Worcester Rescue crews and LifeFlight crews and handed the scene over to state police and Auburn DOT.
The tractor-trailer was sitting across the road with debris surrounding it. State police said the west and eastbound lanes of the turnpike have been reopened with some restrictions. Expect delays and try to avoid the area if possible.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation but Auburn fire department said they believe it was a single vehicle accident.
