Metro Detroit Woman Crowned Miss Michigan 2016
Miss Wayne County, who hails from Bloomfield Hills, will represent Michigan in the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City in September.

Arianna Quan, 23, of Bloomfield Hills, was crowned Miss Michigan at a pageant in Muskegon Saturday
Quan won $12,000 in scholarship money and will represent the state at the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, NJ, in September, according to the Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant website.
The Andover High School graduate represented Wayne County in the pageant. She attends the College for Creative Studies at Wayne State University, where she is a matriculate in the honors Automotive program. Her career goal is to become a design leader at a car company.

For her talent, she performed a Glinka-Balakirev composition on classical piano, according to the Muskegon Chronicle.
Shelby Gardiner, Miss St. Clair Shores, was the third runner-up. Miss Oakland County, Kaitlyn Krizanix, was one of 10 semi-finalists chosen from the field of 33 women.

Besides Gardiner, the other runners-up are:
- First runner-up, Miss Shoreline, Alexandria Strother
- Second runner-up, Miss Bay County, Ashli Maser
- Fourth runner-up, Miss Lighthouse Coast, Quinn Fischermann
