Local Fitness Boot Camp to Raise Money for Dearborn Animal Shelter

A local fitness boot camp is donating $50 to the Dearborn Animal Shelter for every new client that signs up for the program between Jan. 15 and Feb. 15.

Nick Lopez, CEO and Founder of Dearborn-based Weapons 4 Weight Loss , is hoping to raise a total of $1,000 to help local homeless animals through Friends For the Dearborn Animal Shelter.

“I’m finally in a position to donate back to the community," said Lopez. "The shelter does so many great things. With their help, I’m now able to help more people lose weight and help all these animals find a loving home.”

The indoor fitness camp meets Monday through Friday at 6:30 a.m. and Tuesday through Friday at 8 p.m., at the Sokol Cultural Gymnastic Center in Dearborn Heights.

Sessions include muscle strengthening and toning, cardiovascular conditioning, core stabilization, and balance and flexibility training. Lopez guarantees twice the calorie burn in half the time of traditional health club workouts.

New times and locations will be added in the coming weeks.

To get started with the Weapons 4 Weight Loss bootcamp program, contact Nick Lopez at (313) 686-1989, Nick@Weapons4WeightLoss.com or visit  TheDearbornBootCamp.com.

Mention the Dearborn Animal Shelter and you’ll get two weeks of unlimited boot camp classes for just $1.
