Farmington Public Schools voters will decide a $222 million bond question on Tuesday, but there are other things to do this week in Farmington and Farmington Hills. For a full list, browse through the  Patch events calendar

1. Magic moments happen Wednesday in Riley Park. 

“The Amazing Clark” captures each and every audience member with his quick humor and incredible stage shows featuring magical illusions, puppetry, and escapes. The fun starts at 7 p.m. in the park, which is located in downtown Farmington. Call the Farmington Community Library at 248-553-0300, extension 220 or visit  www.farmlib.org to learn more. 

2. Enjoy a scoop of ice cream with a preschooler.

Antioch Preschool combines ice cream and child-centered activities with an evening of information about their facility and program. For more information, Sharon Detter 248-626-7906, ext. 28 or write to antiochpreschool@sbcglobal.net. The church is located at 33360 W. 13 Mile in Farmington Hills. 

3. Get your gardening questions answered

Master gardeners will answer your questions during Thursday's Porch Party at the Governor Warner Mansion on Grand River in Farmington. Do-it-yourself ice cream sundaes will be part of the fun during the event, which starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $5. To learn more, call 248-474-5500, ext. 2225.

4. Taste wine for a good cause.

This event at Fleming’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 17400 Haggerty Rd. in Livonia benefits Community Living Centers programs for adults with developmental disabilities in Farmington. Held Friday starting at 5:30 p.m., the casual evening includes wine/beer tasting, appetizers and a chance to win door prizes. Tickets are $45; call 248-478-0870 to reserve your spot.
