Ribbon-Cutting: La Jolie Rose/Hannah Bear

The boutique shop featuring clothing, accessories and more for women, children and men recently moved to a storefront in Grosse Pointe Woods. The owner celebrated her new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday.

The owner of celebrated her with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday with city and business officials.

Owner Rose Marchese recently moved her businesses from the Village to 20155 Mack Ave., which has been a good move, she previously told Patch.

She was joined Monday by her husband Dr. Robert Marchese, Mayor Robert Novitke, Woods City Administrator Al Fincham and Executive Director Jennifer Boettcher and Director of Administration MaryJo Harris.

Her relocation involved some remodeling and update to the new building, which formerly houses Grosse Pointe Collection. The new space offers Marchese more space and is much brighter with natural light.

The business was one of many that took many power lines down and caused heavy power outages throughout the Woods and some in the City and the Park.

The new location is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday. The store is closed Sunday and Monday. To reach the store, call 313-882-6966 or visit their Facebook page.
