A musical version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol comes to the Village Theater with showtimes at 2 and 7 p.m. today.

4. Last day for letters to Santa

Canton Leisure Services has made special arrangements with the North Pole and the U.S. Post Office to deliver your children's wish lists to Santa. To mail your letter to Santa, drop it in the North Pole express mailbox in the Summit on the Park lobby by today.

3. Experience Dickens Christmas this week at Plymouth Historical Museum

Want some historical perspective on Charles Dickens' life and works? The Plymouth Historical Museum has its Dickens Christmas exhibit open 1-4 p.m. today and each Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Jan. 13.

1. 'It's a Wonderful Life' actress coming to Penn Theatre today

It's a Wonderful Life actress Virginia Patton will make an appearance today at the Penn Theatre in Plymouth, introducing her most famous role. Patton will appear at the theater at about 3:45 p.m., in advance of the theater's 4:15 p.m. screening.
