5. Old Village Halloween Haunted Block Party is this weekend

Plymouth's Old Village is getting into the spooky spirit this weekend with its sixth annual Halloween Haunted Block Party from 12-4 p.m. Sunday on Liberty Street between Mill Street and Starkweather. There will be costume contests for kids, pets and adults, as well as kiddie train rides, trick-or-treating, the Pumpkin Tower of Death, 50/50 raffle and pumpkin bowling.

4. Wicked Halloween Run is Sunday

Don a costume and some running shoes for the  Wicked Halloween Run 7 a.m. Oct. 28 in downtown Plymouth. There will be a 10K, 5K and monster mile run, which all start and finish in Kellogg Park.  Entertainment includes an on-stage dance performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

1. Last Plymouth Farmers Market is Today

The  last Plymouth Farmers Market of the year is today from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Gathering Pavilion. The market features fresh produce, plants, flowers, eggs, meats, baked goods, popcorn, cherry products, salsa and barbecue sauces, honey, jams and more. There are also handmade and recycled items including candles, soaps, lotions, hand-painted furniture and more.
