Cheryl Vatcher-Martin Is A Featured Author At Plymouth District Library Event
The Plymouth District Library is hosting a Local Authors event Saturday, from 1-3 PM. Cheryl Vatcher-Martin will be a featured author.
Every year the Plymouth District Library hosts an event highlighting our local authors. This is a wonderful event, because it shows just how many talented people we have in the Plymouth area. I always like to pick an unusually good author, and highlight their work. This year I spoke with an unusually gifted author who lives in Canton, named Cheryl Martin Vatcher.
Before I get to her work, I’d like to highlight some of Cheryl’s life experiences, which I’ve always believed play a big part in their work. Cheryl gravitated towards writing when she was a child, and seemed to know that writing would be a part of her life forever. She graduated from high school being fluent in three languages.
After high school, Cheryl enlisted in the Army, and spent 15 years in the Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard before being honorably discharged. Cheryl has degrees from Madonna University, Vincennes University, and the University of Michigan. She currently has a Masters Degree in Education. Cheryl has been an AVVA member of the Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans of America, is a disabled veteran, and is an advocate for disabled veterans nationwide.

Cheryl will have many titles available at this event, and would be more than happy to discuss them, and personalize any books that you might be interested in purchasing. If you can not attend this event, you can find many of Cheryl’s titles at Amazon Books...
