A 39-year-old Pontiac man found himself in jail late Tuesday night after reportedly ramming his car into another person's car during a physical altercation outside a bowling alley in Rochester Hills.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived to Classic Lanes bowling alley at the 2100 block of Avon Industrial in Rochester Hills for a report of a fight in progress. Two men at the scene told deputies they were involved in a fight with another man who had left the scene. Before leaving, the man intentionally rammed his car into the car of one of the two men, they told deputies.
Sheriff's officials located the man at McLaren Hospital, where he underwent treatment for a minor cut and was released and taken to Oakland County Jail pending issuance of a warrant.
Sheriff's officials could not locate the vehicle used in the suspected felonious assault and the man told deputies he did not know where it was located. The two men involved in the altercation with the man provided deputies written statements and did not require medical treatment.
