Rochester Hills Man Shoots Himself in Head in 'Russian Roulette' Game: Police
The victim was still in critical condition Monday, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said.

A 20-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the head in Rochester Hills Friday evening while playing “Russian roulette” after playing video games in his home in the 200 block of Marias Drive, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said in a report Monday.
The victim was still in critical condition Monday, according to the report.
Police were called to the address in the Rochester Estates MObile Home Park at 6:23 p.m. Friday.

A witness told deputies that the victim placed the gun to his temple and pulled the trigger. The witness immediately called 911 and began to administer first aid.
According to the witness, the victim didn’t make any suicidal statements and initially thought it was a joke, the report said.

Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor, police said.
