The high school track and field season is over, but Saline's athletes are still running and jumping and taking home hardware.

Recent graduate Steven Bastien placed fourth in the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, held June 14-16 at North Carolina A+T University in Greensboro, N.C.

Bastien leaped 23 feet, nine inches.

Another highlight came from Abby Rentschler, who was first among all freshmen in the two-mile run.
