have arrested and charged one of two men in an armed robbery at over Memorial Day weekend.

The incident occurred at 5:23 p.m. Sunday when Robertson and another suspect allegedly robbed a male and female shopper at gunpoint as they were leaving the  store, according to a Troy Police media release.

Kereim Jwron Robertson, 18, of Detroit was arrested and charged Tuesday with two counts of armed robbery and one count each of felony firearm, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony and resisting and obstructing a police officer. He was arraigned in 52-4 District Court by Judge Bolle; his bond was set at $1 million cash surety.

As the man and woman walked away from the store, Robertson and the other suspect, who were sitting on a bench outside the store, got up and approached the shoppers. According to the media release, one of the two suspects grabbed the male shopper, ripping his $1,800 Cartier eyeglasses from his face. As the male shopper wrestled with one suspect, Robertson allegedly pulled a revolver from his pants pocket and told the other suspect to "bust him."

The male shopper backed off after seeing the revolver, and Robertson then allegedly grabbed the woman's purse and True Religion shopping bag and took off running. The victims followed the suspects and saw Robertson leave in a full-sized white van.

Troy Police located and searched the van after a short scuffle with Robertson, finding a 6-shot revolver with five live rounds hidden under the driver's seat cushion, according to police. The female victim's purse and True Religion bag were also located in the vehicle, and the broken Cartier eyeglasses were found where the initial scuffle had occurred outside True Religion.

Robertson's pre-trial is scheduled for June 4 at 8:30 a.m., also in front of Judge Bolle in 52-4 District Court. The second suspect remains at large.
