Dangerous Wind Chills Close West Bloomfield Area Schools Tuesday
As wind chills and temperatures plummet, school districts serving the West Bloomfield area have announced they'll remain closed Tuesday.

West Bloomfield Public Schools, Walled Lake Consolidated Schools, Farmington Public Schools and Bloomfield Hills Schools have all cancelled classes.

This marks the fourth consecutive weather-related closure for West Bloomfield Public Schools. Students were due to return on Jan. 2.

The National Weather Service forecasts a blast of Arctic air that will bring southeast Michigan the coldest temperatures and wind chills "in perhaps 20 years". The wind chill warning remains in effect through 7 a.m. Wednesday.
