"My first visit here and it's LOVE! I wish it were closer—but I enjoyed it enough that I would pop in here once a month or so just to stock up. The selection of items was wonderful," Jennifer L. from Inver Grove Heights. "As I venture into the world of eating healthier food and treating the world a little better, I find myself really pleased to have this place as a resource. And have no fear - I walked in wearing a leather coat and a leather purse and being clueless and wasn't treated like a big jerk for it."
The store also has built a loyal following over the last few decades.
"One whiff as I enter (that patchouli/hempy/herby smell) and I'm instantly 6 years old again. I've been coming here since they opened (sometime in the mid 1970s I think?), in fact, I think my mom's member is #10 or something like that," said Anne T. of Eagan. "We used to have to wash our hands in the sink as we entered when it was located off of Nicollet Ave. in that dumpy strip mall. The store has changed and grown and is a far cry from what I remember as a child, but you can still get natural PB and bulk items."
