12:03 p.m.—Police responded to a criminal sexual conduct call on the 4100 block of States Ave.
6:01 p.m.—Police responded to a DWI-related incident at the intersection of Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. and Sherwood Rd. The reporting party told police a vehicle was swerving, hit a sign and tree and then came to a stop on a sidewalk. The vehicle left before police could arrive, but officers later tracked it to the Lebanon Hills Regional Park western trailhead. An officer spoke with the driver, who's behavior showed he was under the influence. The man was cited for a fourth-degree DWI and released to his brother.
6:18 p.m.—Police responded to a juvenile complaint on the 4500 block of Slater Rd. The caller told police a seven-year-old boy attacked his mother and a personal care assistant. The boy, diagnosed with autism, PTSD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, was punching people, throwing things and trying to jump off a balcony.
8:57 p.m.—Police responded to a drunkenness call on the 500 block of 77th St. W. The reporting party, a nurse, told officers an extremely intoxicated juvenile was throwing up on a front lawn. The child was transported to St. Paul Children's Hospital.
4:38 p.m.—Police responded to a weapons call on the 4100 block of Durham Ct. The reporting party told police a neighbor was shooting squirrels with a pellet gun from his doorway. The caller told police there was a dead squirrel in the front yard right now. Police spoke with the neighbor, who said he was using ball bearings and a slingshot to kill the squirrels because they were eating his plants. Police weren't sure whether that was a violation of city regulations.
2:23 p.m.—Police responded to a damage to property call on the 3600 block of Widgeon Way. The reporting party told police that someone damaged his marriage amendment signs by writing on them. The vandal also struck a political sign posted in the yard of the caller's neighbor.
3:08 p.m.—Police responded to a burglary that took place on the 4500 block of Slater Rd. The caller told officers that someone broke into a garage sometime within the last three days and stole two tires.
5:36 p.m.—Police responded to a theft call on the 4600 block Penkwe Way. The caller told police she just came home and discovered that her TV had been stolen. The woman told authorities that a man she met online was staying with her that day and that she had given him the keys to her house. Like the TV, the man had disappeared.
2:25 a.m.—Police responded to a weapons call on Interstate 35E near Cliff Road. A female passenger riding in a car on the interstate was shot in the shoulder by another motorist in a suspected road rage incident. Click here for more information on this call.
12:19 a.m.—Police responded to a fire call on the 2100 block of Cliff Rd. A caller told police that flames were coming from underneath a car in a parking lot. The fire was extinguished and the vehicle towed. No arson is suspected.
1:18 a.m.—Police responded to a domestic call on the 1600 block of River Bluff Ct. The reporting party told officers that she was trying to sleep when her intoxicated boyfriend began choking her and punching her. The woman told police the suspect punched her in the face, neck and arm, and told her he would kill her. She fled the house and locked herself in her car. Police arrested and cited the man for fifth-degree domestic assault.
11:27 a.m.—Police responded to a juvenile complaint on the 2100 block of Diffley Road. The reporting party told police that one of her daughter's classmates, a 17-year-old girl, was posting nude photos of herself on Facebook.
8:05 a.m.—Police responded to an assault call on the 4500 block of 4500 Slater Road. The reporting party told officers a 21-year-old male had been assaulted and may have a broken upper leg as a result of the attack. Officers spoke with the victim, who said the fight started over a woman. The man declined to press charges. The victim, who sustained a dislocated hip, was transported to a hospital by Health East EMTs.
5:26 p.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 4500 block of Slater Rd. The victim told officers that some large fireworks, military cold-weather gear and a two-wheel kids' scooter was taken. It was the second time in the last two weeks the garage had been 'hit'.
7:01 p.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call on the 1800 block of Beecher Dr. The caller told police that an unknown male took pictures of three teenage girls coming to the caller's house.
7:09 p.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call at the intersection of Balsam Trl E. and Dunrovin Ln. The caller, a grandfather, told police his teenage granddaughter was out trick-or-treating when a man in a white van stopped and asked the girl and her friends if they wanted some candy that was in the back of the van. Police stopped the van driver, who told officers he had merely invited the girls to trick-or-treat at his house like all the other kids out that night.
8:46 a.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call on the 800 block of Diffley Rd. The caller told police that someone was shooting rocks at his house, possibly with a potato gun. The rocks damaged his siding.
