Fridley is under a severe thunderstorm warning through 5:15 p.m., according to the National Weather Service:

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHERN HENNEPIN AND SOUTH CENTRAL ANOKA COUNTIES UNTIL 515 PM CDT...

AT 421 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR CORCORAN...OR 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF PLYMOUTH...MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

PLYMOUTH...HAMEL...DAYTON...MAPLE GROVE...CHAMPLIN...OSSEO...
MEDICINE LAKE...BROOKLYN PARK...NEW HOPE...COON RAPIDS...CRYSTAL...
