Michael Hofer, co-owner of the new CherryBerry, tells Patch that the self-serve frozen yogurt store will open 5 p.m. Friday.
The new Northfield business, located at 400 Fifth St. W., Suite B between Wireless World/Verizon Wireless and Caribou Coffee, is all setup and ready to go.
Hofer's family owns several other CherryBerrys, including stores in Monticello, Moorhead, Alexandria and Detroit Lakes.
Positions are still open, Hofer said, and interested people can stop by the store for more information.
Hofer said CherryBerry is a great place for anyone to visit, including college students and families. The store will have TVs for families to gather and watch together as they enjoy their treats. He said the store will also run regular specials and promotions.
There will be specials at the store when it has its grand opening in a week or two, Hofer said.
CherryBerry offers free Wi-Fi. You can also find the store on Facebook.
According to CherryBerry:
CherryBerry Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt offers over 50 premium rotating healthy and fat-free frozen yogurt flavors and over 50 toppings. The beauty behind CherryBerry is that customers have complete control. Upon entering, they simply grab a cup and start mixing. They can then visit the topping bar to add any or all of the toppings leaving nothing to be desired. Toppings range from granola, cereals and fresh fruits, to all kinds of candies, sprinkles, and even specialty items such as a variety of nuts. After customers have filled their cups, they weigh their creation on a scale and pay for it by the ounce. At CherryBerry, the possibilities are endless. Simply swirl it, top it, weigh it, pay for it. CherryBerry gives the fun to people by allowing them to create their own frozen yogurt.
