Monday’s high is expected to be just -17 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rainbow Foods to Close Early Monday in Anticipation of Cold
Rainbow Foods stores, including the Richfield location, will be closing early Monday, Jan. 6 due to the extremely cold weather in the forecast.

All Rainbow Foods stores will be closing at 8 p.m. Monday, according to the company's website. The  National Weather Service predicts a low of -26 degrees Fahrenheit Sunday followed by a high of -17 degrees Monday. Winds of 10 to 15 mph will further add to the bitter cold. Tuesday.

On Friday, Gov. Mark Dayton ordered all public schools to be closed Monday for the weather.
