Dog lovers will gather in Linden Hills Saturday, Sept. 7 to celebrate the neighborhood's ninth annual Woofstock.
According to a press release, the free event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on 43rd Street between Upton Avenue South and Vincent Avenue
South in Minneapolis. More than 4,000 people are expected to attend the event.

Dogs and their people can stroll the business district to
take advantage of special events and discounts at neighborhood merchants. The streets are also home to the Linden
Hills Woofstock Love-In Exhibition, this year boasting a record 49+ booths full
of Fido finds—from grooming, rescuing, luggage, and food to clothing, bedding,
photography, a children’s book author, walking, and boarding. Other events include live music, a
demonstration by the Minneapolis Police Canine Unit, and the annual dog trick
contests, hosted by K102’s Amy James.
