Monday night, the Minneapolis Police Department announced an arrest in a quintet of bus station robberies in Minneapolis and St. Louis Park.

Louis Larell Osborne, 20 years old, was nabbed after trying to rob a man waiting at a bus stop on the 600 block of 8th Street SE in Minneapolis, near the University of Minnesota. The victim was waiting for the bus, according to police, when the suspect approached, brandished a gun, and demanded the man's belongings. The victim was forced to give up his wallet, cell phone, and laptop.

"Through cooperation with other agencies and through investigation, the suspect was charged with the robbery," the MPD announcement read.

Osborne is suspected in three robberies in Southwest Minneapolis—two at the corner of West 46th St. and Bryant Ave South and one at the corner of West 53rd Street and Xerxes Ave South. Osborne is also the suspect in a pair of St. Louis Park robberies in February.
