It was a busy Saturday afternoon for athletics, as the Orioles competed not only in football versus , but also in several other sports to open the month of October.

Orioles Girls Soccer Ties Again

The Park girls soccer team logged its second-straight 1-1 tie on Saturday, locking up Irondale after knotting BSM by the same score last Tuesday.

Lauren McManus scored her first varsity goal for the Orioles' lone score of the day, as her team dropped one-half game off the Red Knights' lead in the North Suburban Conference. 

Park enters this week with a 7-2-3 overall record, 6-0-2 in the NSC.

Orioles Boys Soccer Keeps Rolling

A 4-1 defeat of Irondale on Saturday was the ninth win in the last 10 games for the Park boys soccer team.

Individual statistics for the game were not made available. The Orioles improved to 10-3 overall and 7-1 in the NSC with the win and enter this week one game behind BSM in the circuit standings.

Orioles Volleyball Gets First Match Win

The Park volleyball team claimed one win in four tries at the Delano Tournament on Saturday, defeating PACT/Spactrum in two games after succumbing to Minneapolis South, Delano and Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted. The victory was the first of the season for the Orioles.

Individual statistics were not made available. The Orioles enter this week with a 1-13 record, 0-6 in the NSC.

Red Knights Girls Tennis Wins Easily

The BSM girls tenis team improved to 13-4 this season with a 6-1 defeat of Academy of Holy Angels on Friday. Individual statistics were not made available. 

Results were not currently available for the Park cross-country and girls swim/dive teams that competed on Saturday.
