St. Louis Park Parking Ban in Effect

Residents must keep their vehicles off the road until streets are plowed curb to curb.

The heavy snowfall overnight prompted St. Louis Park to declare a parking ban in effect just before noon Tuesday.

The city declares a parking ban as soon as snow accumulation reaches three inches—whatever time of day that happens to be.

On-street parking is prohibited any time during a parking ban until streets have been plowed curb to curb. Owners of cars that are on city streets after 3 inches of snow fall  can receive a:

  • Minimum $30 parking ticket,
  • $115.00 minimum towing charge plus administrative fees (with additional charges if the vehicle must be shoveled out or weighs more than a ton) and
  • $30 storage fee per day.

Drivers whose vehicles are towed can call Bobby & Steve's at(952) 944-1690 to find out where to pick up their vehicles.
