Carl Kalk, St. Michael Native Who Helped Lead Corcoran, Dies

Carl F. Kalk, 76 of St. Michael, passed away at CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Monticello, on Jan. 3, 2014. Funeral services were held  Wednesday, Jan 8, 2014, at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Maple Grove, with a visitation on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church. Interment is at St. John’s Cemetery, Maple Grove.

Carl was a longtime sales representative for a local forklift company, but many knew his activity as a community leader in Corcoran and Hanover, where he headed up the Hanover Athletic Association as a founding member.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of St. Michael, and his sons Gerald (Elk River) and Donald (St. Michael).

Ronald D. Berhow, 70, of Rockford, passed away at his home on December 22, 2013. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael, with visitation from noon until the time of the service. Internment at Elmwood Cemetery, Rockford.

Ronald is the father of Steven and Jeff, and father of Lisa Rathbun, all of St. Michael.

Steven Venard Eull, 59, of St. Michael, died December 30, 2013 in Hopkins. Memorial services are set for 7 p.m. Friday, Jan 10 at The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Interment at St. Michael Cemetery.

Steven is the brother of Anthony Eull, St. Michael, Bonita Eull, Albertville. Memorials are preferred to the Chad Smith Ride For Life.
