Have a taste for breakfast at 6 p.m.? Now you can get it thanks to Affton Breakfast and Dinner, located at 9416 Gravois Rd. next to 10 Mile House.
The restaurant is housed in the space formerly occupied by Trattoria Toscana, which has moved down the street in Sunset Hills. It offers breakfast served all day and homemade Greek specialities.
The new business is owned by Elsa and Milto Sholla, who live in Shrewsbury. Their son Andy manages the restaurant. The Shollas decided to open the business in Affton because they saw a need for a restaurant offering a sit-down breakfast served all day.
"We want to make a name for ourselves in Affton and be known for our breakfast and warm atmosphere," Andy Sholla said. "We want to be here for the long run."
It's the first restaruant the Shollas have owned, but Milto Sholla is no stranger to the business. He has 15 years of kitchen experience at The Majestic Restaurant & Bar in the Central West End. He is now the kitchen manager at Affton Breakfast and Dinner.
Prices range from $4 for a one-egg breakfast to $15 for an 8-ounce Ribeye steak dinner. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Sundays, it is open 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
