Bradley Beal Goes To Washington Thursday

Think about the process leading up to landing your first post-college job. There's a good chance it has nothing in common with what former Creve Coeur prep basketball star Bradley Beal is experiencing.

One week after sitting out of drills at the NBA's pre-draft combine, Beal is hitting the road to meet with prospective suitors on their. As The Washington Post and other outlets are reporting, Beal is one of a trio of top talents meeting with the Washington Wizards this weekend. Beal's visit is scheduled for Thursday.

Beal's representatives have told media outlets that their client will not visit teams picking outside the top 2-4 draft slots, currently occupied by Washington, Charlotte and Cleveland.

Various mock drafts predicting how it all will shake out have Beal going as high as number 2 to Charlotte, like cbssports.com's Jeff Goodman does or as low as number seven in an nbadraft.net mock to Golden State. Still another, from Sports Illustrated, matches him up with the Sacramento Kings at number five overall.

The NBA Draft will be held June 28.
