Eight Hazelwood Central Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Eight Hazelwood Central athletes signed their letters of intent Wednesday morning to play college-level sports.

Wednesday, students across the country placed their John Hancock on the dotted line to play sports ranging from baseball, basketball, softball and soccer. Dubbed National Signing Day, several Florissant students made their intentions well known, including:

Noble Hampton, Baseball,  Carl Sandburg Junior College

Jordan Martin, Basketball, Southern Illinois University Carbondale

Marcus Hinton, Basketball,  Lindenwood University

Alexis Chappelle, Basketball, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville

Alexis McClendon, Softball, Kansas City Community College

Jamie Morales, Soccer, Missouri Baptist University

Devan Jones, Soccer, Western Illinois University

Nate Holtz, Soccer, St. Charles Community College

(For more photos of Wednesday's Hazelwood School District signings, check out our Pics and Clips gallery.)

There are three ways you can make sure the athletes in your family or at your school can get the spotlight that he or she deserves. (All require a Patch login, which is free and painless!)

You can also email a photo to Florissant@patch.com.

These are tools anyone can use to highlight what's going on in school, a business, athletic team, charitable organization, you name it. We're happy to help you spread the word on Patch!
