Police said the man, arrested for another burglary, confessed to being a lookout for an August break-in.

North County Man Admits to Being Lookout in Florissant Burglary

A North County man told Florissant Police he acted as a lookout during an early August burglary on Angelus Drive.

Roy Modzelewski, 27, of the 1700 block of Central Parkway in North County, was charged Thursday with burglary and stealing.

Florissant Police said residents returned home from vacation to find their home in the 500 block of Angelus Drive in Florissant had been burglarized. Police said the home was burglarized between 9:45 a.m. Aug. 4 and 2 p.m. Aug 5.

Police said Modzelewski had been arrested in connection with another burglary. According to a report, he told them he was a lookout for another person in the burglary in the 500 block of Angelus. Police said another man broke in and stole jewelry and a Pentax camera. Total value of the stolen items was estimated at $9,115.

Bail was set at $20,000.
