There's something to do almost every day of the week in either the or throughout North County. From Halloween events to movie nights to doing something for the environment with a river cleanup, we've got you covered.
When/Where: 7:30p.m. Friday at
Why go: The firefighters will provide popcorn, soda, and water before and during the movie. Watch on a 10-foot screen in engine bay of the station.
Confluence River Cleanup
When/Where: 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Columbia Bottom Conservation Area Boat Ramp located at 801 Strodtman Rd.
Why go: This is the last stop of the Big Muddy Clean Sweep, a Missouri River clean-up by barge across the state of Missouri. Volunteers will be ferried to the river banks and islands to pick up trash washed up on shore. Other volunteers, including youth groups, can pick up trash along the banks, trails and parking lots. Volunteers receive a T-shirt, trash bags, gloves and lunch at the event, and life jackets will be provided, although they are in short supply for children.
When/Where: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at
Why go: Let your child showoff their Halloween costume while interacting with other children. This event is for infants through children 8 years old.
When/Where: 3 p.m. to 7p.m. Monday at
Why go: Take your children out to grab candy in an indoor environment. In case of rain this is a way to ensure the kiddos have a good time and don't catch a cold later.

Why go: Celebrate a safe and happy Halloween with Hazelwood Parks and Recreation. There will be a costume contest and coloring contest for children of all ages.
