Colored jeans are a wardrobe staple for the fall of 2011, and of the multitude of colors out there, red seems to be rising to the top of the color heap.

At in Kirkwood, you can find a pair of ReUse Denim red skinny jeans ($95) that can be dressed up or dressed down to incorporate some of this fall's other trends.

With help from Paperdolls' Carolyn Burghoff and Annie Giarratano, Kirkwood Patch has found five ways to wear a pair of red jeans:

Roll 'Em Up

To keep it casual, try rolling the jeans just above your ankles and wearing them with a pair of flats. At Paperdolls, you can incorporate the fall color-blocking trend by wearing a gray Red Haute hooded poncho ($92), the red jeans and a pair of blue Wanted flats ($35).

Tone It Down

If color-blocking isn't in your style wheelhouse, you can also go for a more neutral look that uses the red jeans as a brilliant pop of color. Paperdolls has a cute khaki deep-V crocheted Jack cardigan ($74) that looks great with the jeans, a white Idea cami ($28), camel-colored Tracy Reese heels ($100) and a gold statement necklace ($46) for a bit of fun.

Hit the Road

With the cooler months approaching, red jeans transition well to be worn with jackets and boots. Paperdolls has an RD Style faux fur-lined bomber jacket ($118) and Naughty Monkey tan boots ($109) that are sure to keep you warm. One can add an MAK peach sweater ($40), a Big Buddha bag ($105) and a pair of red and gold earrings ($28) to complete the look.

Make It Work

For either a casual Friday at work, or a nice meal out with friends, wear a blouse, a jacket or blazer and a pair of heels with the red jeans. At Paperdolls, try a black-and-white feather-printed Audrey 3+1 blouse ($42), a black Idea cami ($28) underneath, a black Jack jacket ($70) on top and a pair of leopard-print Chelsea Crew heels ($68) to add in another fall must-have. Add some sparkle by layering a black-and-gold beaded necklace ($28) with a mixed-metal necklace ($30).

Head Out on the Town

The red jeans also look great with a fun black top for a night out. Lace is also a major trend this fall. At Paperdolls, go for a Gracia black lace top ($64), a black Idea cami ($28) underneath and the red ReUse jeans. Accessorize with a pair of black Chelsea Crew wedges ($68) and a silver-and-black tassel necklace ($35).
