ATTORNEYS HOST RECEPTION IN ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI FOR LEGAL SERVICES OF EASTERN MISSOURI ATTORNEYS HOST RECEPTION IN ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI FOR LEGAL SERVICES OF EASTERN MISSOURI

To show their support for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri’s (LSEM) many services and programs, a group of St. Charles attorneys recently hosted a special cocktail reception at Hendricks BBQ in St. Charles, Mo.  Led by Ryan Cox (LSEM board member) and Fred Drakesmith (former LSEM board member), the two were joined by Thomas Burke, III, Joshua Knight, Eric Wulff and Rory Ellinger in sponsoring the event, as well as rallying attendance.

Nearly 60 attorneys and judges in St. Charles and the surrounding areas attended the event.

During the reception, longtime LSEM supporter Rory Ellinger spoke about the vital role LSEM plays in the community while Jason Dodson, managing attorney of LSEM’s Lasting Solutions Family Law Program shared the challenges that domestic violence victims we represent in St. Charles face everyday.

“We so value our support in St. Charles, where in 2012 we helped nearly 1200 clients and family members. The St. Charles legal community has always been there for LSEM and the clients we serve,” said Dan Glazier, LSEM’s Executive Director.

Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) has provided high quality legal assistance in civil cases to the low-income community for more than 50 years.  In 2012, LSEM helped over 17,000 people (including clients and their household members) in 21 counties of eastern Missouri. LSEM is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and as a private, charitable non-profit, receives and appreciates financial support from members of the public.
