Description: Part time up to 28 hours per week.​ Work hours will vary and will include evening and weekend shifts. Enforces ordinances, investigates concerns and writes reports related to animal control. Handles dangerous animals. Performs dead animal removal and disposal. Assists in kennel care. Participates in community education programs.
Requirements: U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker; High School graduate or GED certificate; Missouri Animal Control Association (MACA) certification within 6 months of hire; Motor Vehicle Operator’s License valid in the State of Missouri. Prefer National Animal Control Association (NACA) Level I certification or Cruelty Investigation Level I Certification, Hunter Education certification, urban wildlife training, bite stick training and pet breed identification skills.
