 responsible for coordinating fundraising efforts in Special Olympics Missouri’s (SOMO) St. Louis Metro Area, including the planning and promotion of designated special event fundraising projects and sponsorship acquisition, including current signature events such as the Polar Plunge at Lake Saint Louis and Gateway Golf Benefit. 
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience; at least three year’s experience in development, special event planning, or promotion experience; excellent communications skills, both written and verbal; computer literate in the Windows environment, Microsoft Office and database management; strong organization, sales and event planning skills; ability to be self-directed and a team player.
