$52K Raised at NHTI's 2017 Winter Fling
Couples danced on Saturday to raise money for the President's Fund for Excellence.

CONCORD, NH — NHTI, Concord’s Community College, held its 2017 Winter Fling on Jan. 28, 2017. The event, which includes Dancing with the Concord Stars, raised money for the President’s Fund for Excellence, which provides scholarships to students and additional funding for the school, according to its website.
This year was the seventh straight sold-out Winter Fling, according to the organizer. The Buy-a -Vote raised almost $3,000, the second highest total ever, and the overall event is expected to bring in $52,000 for the fund, also the second highest total.
Dance couples were selected for awards, including our own Patch Editor, Tony Schinella, who took home the People’s Choice Award with dance partner, Tammy Amnott.

Winter Fling 2018 has already been scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27.
