The Drug Enforcement Unit of the continues to make some inroads into removing illegal drugs from the Concord community.

During the last two weeks, police have made a number of arrests, after “lengthy investigations,” according to Lt. , of the Concord Police Department.

On June 5, Jamie L. Locke, 35, a homeless woman from Concord, was arrested and charged with three felony counts of sale of controlled drugs.

According to an arrest report, police gathered 4.1 grams worth of heroin and audio recordings as evidence during three different alleged transactions on March 22 on South Main Street, March 23 outside the on North Main Street, and on March 27, outside the South Street Market on South Street.

Locke was arrested at the Merrimack County House of Corrections, according to O’Malley, where she was being held on separate charges. She refused bail and was arraigned at the Sixth Circuit District Division in Concord on June 6.

On June 8, police arrested Nancy McMann, 39, a homeless woman from Concord, and charged her with three felony counts of sale of controlled drugs.

Officers arrested McMann on the train tracks near Storrs Street in Concord.

The charges stem from alleged incidents on Jan. 25, Jan. 31, and Feb. 2, at the on North State Street. Police reportedly seized 24 Percocets and eight Roxicodone during the alleged incidents. Audio recordings of the alleged drug deals were also reportedly submitted as evidence.

McMann refused bail and was arraigned at the Sixth Circuit District Division, on June 11.

Then, on June 13, Matthew Pineault, 28, of Chichester, was charged with four felony counts of sale of controlled drugs. He was arrested at his home in Chichester after the Concord Police issued a warrant. Police allege that Pineault was selling heroin. He was held on $40,000 cash bail and arraigned at Sixth District Division on June 15.
