Vehicle Fire On I-393, Crash Reported In Loudon Road In Concord
Watch: Traffic was slowed in the area of Fort Eddy Road on Thursday for a crash after firefighters returned from an I-393 fire.

CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters were called to a vehicle fire on I-393 Thursday which closed down a section of the highway for more than an hour. Firefighters were sent to eastbound side of the highway between Exits 1 and 2 for a vehicle fire at around 6:05 p.m. The right lane was closed, according to NH DOT, while other traffic was guided off at Exit 1, according to witnesses.
The main part of the fire was extinguished at around 6:30 p.m.
At around 7:20 p.m., the vehicle was cleared and the highway reopened.

On the way back from I-393, firefighters came upon a two-vehicle accident at Loudon Road and Fort Eddy Road.

At just before 6 p.m., a kitchen fire was reported on Old Suncook Road. It turned out to be food burning in a microwave.
