Nashua Fire: Truck With Jet Fuel Burns At Home Depot
Nashua fire officials said a truck with 200 gallons of jet fuel caught fire in a Home Depot parking lot April 16, 2017.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua firefighters on Sunday extinguished a fire that broke out in a truck loaded with 200 gallons of jet fuel. Fire officials said the incident happened Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of the city's Home Depot store on Coliseum Avenue. Firefighters used hoses and foam to extinguish the fire and prevented it from reaching the jet fuel stored in tanks in the truck's rear.
No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
"The fire was efficiently contained by fire crews," Nashua fire Captain Steve Buxton said in a statement.

Also on Sunday, Nashua firefighters extinguished another fire at the Temple Street Hotel.
