Nashua Man Faces Prostitution, Rape Charges

Paul Caya, 79, was arrested Aug. 23, along with Ashley Xiggores, 24, who also faces indecent exposure, narcotics and rape charges.

Paul Caya, Jr., age 79, of 34 Jefferson Street, Nashua, was arrested Aug. 23 on multiple charges, including prostitution and indecent exposure to a minor. Also arrested was Ashley Xiggores, 25, of 36½ Lovell Street, Nashua, on warrants as part of a related investigation by Nashua Police Department’s Youth Services Division.

Police arrested Caya for allegedly performing sexual acts on a 14 year old female as well as with Xiggores. Police learned that Caya was allegedly providing money to this juvenile and Xiggores in exchange for them performing sexual acts on him. Police said Caya and Xiggores would also engage in sexual acts in front of the juvenile, and that  Xiggores would also encourage the juvenile to perform these sexual acts on Caya for a larger payment by him. The money that Caya was allegedly providing Xiggores and the juvenile was being used to purchase narcotics which Caya reportedly allowed them to use in his residence on Jefferson Street. Xiggores reportedly would also assist the juvenile in ingesting the narcotics using a hypodermic needle.

Caya was charged with one count of Indecent Exposure and Lewdness a Class B Felony; one count of Felonious Sexual Assault, a Class B Felony; one count of Prostitution and Related Offenses, a Class B felony; and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class B Felony. Caya was held on $35,000 cash only bail at the Nashua Police Department overnight pending arraignment in the Nashua District on Aug. 24.

Xiggores is charged with one count of Indecent Exposure and Lewdness, a Class B Felony; one count of Criminal Liability to Felonious Sexual Assault, a Class B Felony; and one count of Acts Prohibited, a Class B Felony. Xiggores was held on $15,000 cash only bail at the Nashua Police Department overnight pending arraignment in the Nashua District Court on Aug. 24.
