A razor blade was found in a child’s bag of Halloween candy this weekend, Hudson police said.

Police said the child, who lives in Elmwood Village, went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood and came back with a razor blade in the candy bag.

The razor blade reads “Made in U.S.A.” at the top but otherwise has no distinctive markings. Police said a parent found it in the child’s bag. It was not wrapped in an individual piece of candy.
