The Spartans are a community-based organization run by a dedicated group of volunteer parents and a professional teaching staff who work in close harmony with all corps members to create and maintain a proud, responsible youth marching band. Over 24 people stopped by the Nashua Mall Store to support the Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps. This incredible performing arts organization, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, is a staple of the Nashua culture and community. The corps has been dedicated to helping young people develop the values of respect, responsibility and commitment through music and performance.
The group rehearses 114 high school and college-aged students and tours the country for four weeks each summer, culminating in national bugle and drum corps competition. This year’s team placed third in the country in the USA Open Division.
Bryan Miranda and Justin DeJoy are just two of the young men that have embraced these values and believe that they can accomplish all of their dreams through hard work and dedication. Both Bryan and Justin were present throughout the day to greet Customers and assist with coin counting.
