Barnegat Teenager Injured In Little Egg Harbor Crash
Excessive speed was a factor in the accident, police say

Excessive speed was likely the cause of a crash in Little Egg Harbor that injured two people when a 2005 Infinite ran off the road and struck a tree, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
Little Egg Harbor police responded to a report of a crash on Giffordtown Lane at 6:14 p.m. on May 3. They determined that Brandon Toro, 19, Little Egg Harbor, was traveling westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road, lost control of the car and crashed into the tree, said Al Della Fave.
Toro suffered serious injuries and was flown to Atlantic City Trauma Center. A 17-year-old female in the front passenger seat sustained minor injuries and was also taken to the trauma center, he said.
