Elizabeth Mazzeo, 'Radio Betty' Of Beach Haven, Dies At 85
She was the longtime owner and operator of the M&M Steam Bar in Beach Haven Terrace
AGE: 85 • Beach Haven
On April 15th, we unfortunately said goodbye to our Mom, Elizabeth Mazzeo a.k.a. "Radio Betty" who was the owner and operator of M & M Steam Bar (1947-2012) ...located in Beach Haven Terrace on Long Beach Island.
Radio Betty mentioned last year on her 85th Birthday that she was now on the 86 list. She was right and how apropos is that? In restaurant terms, you're off the menu!!
Elizabeth, born in Scotland, passed away at the age of 85 on April 15, peacefully surrounded with love by her family and friends at Genesis Healthcare under hospice care; certain into the hands of our Lord God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
We are sure that "Radio Betty" is now reunited with our Dad, Anthony V. Mazzeo a.k.a. "T.V. Tony" who left this world 20 years ago on May 22.
We are confident that they are among many of the finest people we have had the opportunity to meet, serve, and please as well as the many friends and family members who too made the transition from Earth to Heaven.
Elizabeth worshiped at First United Methodist Church of Beach Haven Terrace.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the Cancer Society of your choice to help with the fight against cancer. Cremation was private as "Radio Betty" was heard, not seen.
Love, T.V. Tony & Radio Betty's Gang
P.S. We thank you all for the great memories our parents were able to take with them and those close to our heart that will be with us forever- as well as all of those who were employed with us over the years (and some for many years).
Thanks for your patronage and May God Bless You All!
