Car Fire Spreads To Multiple Vehicles Off Route 202 In Bedminster

Firefighters from Far Hills-Bedminster and Peapack Gladstone were able to stop the blaze from spreading to a nearby building on Monday.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A car ignited into flames and spread to multiple vehicles parked at a lot off Route 202 in Bedminster on Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported at 2 p.m. on May 8 in a parking lot near a building at the corner of Route 202 and Elm Street in Bedminster, Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department told Patch.

Firefighters from Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department and Peapack Gladstone Fire Department found multiple cars on fire including a hybrid Toyota.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the cars quickly before it spread to the building.

No injuries were reported and the cause is currently unknown at this time.
