Yoga Studio Opens, Starts Giving Back

Jinga Yoga and Healthy Living will have its grand opening celebration on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Belleville residents Glenda Serrano and Meriany Benthin founded Jinga Yoga to "offer their community an alternative to the norm."

They see yoga and healthy living as a good way to combat stress, obesity, and chronic illness.

"Our intention is to give back to the community," Serrano said.

"Nothing would make us happier than to see the message of peaceful minds,  healthy bodies, and better lives continue to grow," Serrano and Benthin said

As a part of their grand opening celebration, Jinga Yoga will also offer a free yoga class at 4.

They will also offer one scholarship per month to community members who would benefit from yoga classes but may not be able to pay for membership.

Jinga Yoga will be located at 8 Ridge Road in North Arlington. For more information you can visit www.jingayoga.com or call 201-279-5988.
