Five Year Celebration of Music at the Mansion
Bloomfield's Monthly Music Series, "Music at the Mansion" Celebrates Five Years On Sunday, January 31 With Victorian Tea
Bloomfield’s own music series, “Music at the Mansion” is celebrating its five year anniversary on Sunday, January 31 with a Victorian Tea at 1pm followed by an all-star line up of singers at 2:30pm all to be held at the beautiful Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center.
“Music at the Mansion” began in 2012 and quickly received a MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) award nomination for best series. The monthly series features talented performers from NYC and NJ giving the artist 25 minutes to promote upcoming shows and events. The series is hosted and created by NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident Corinna Sowers Adler and features Deborah Martin on piano. This month, it will also feature James Horan also on piano.
Series hostess, Corinna Sowers Adler, has been nominated as “Best Host of a Variety Show” and “Best Female Vocalist” for the 2012 and 2014 BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards. Sowers Adler was a featured soloist on the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center. She was recently nominated for the Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award and just last month, headlined in The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Corinna has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart, Let Me Sing and I’m Happy, and High Standards at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

All are invited to the five year celebration. It will begin with a very fitting Victorian Tea at 1pm. The performance will begin at 2:30pm and will feature the talents of Sarah Rice, Broadway’s original Johanna in Sweeney Todd, multi MAC award winning recording artist Stearns Matthews, international guitar sensation, Sean Harkness, Broadway Actress Rosemary Loar, multi award winning lyric soprano Shana Farr, host and personality Gerry Mastrolia, hostess and singer Randie Levine Miller, singer/comedian Warren Schein, MAC award winning singer Sue Matsuki, actor/singer Bob Diamond, multi award winning singer/songwriter Tracy Stark, Bloomfield very own singer/actor, Mark Szep, crooner/nominated cabaret singer Frank Dain, DALLAS television actress and Bistro award winner Deborah Tranelli, award winning recording artist Ilene Angel, Broadway Actor DC Anderson, actor, singer and recording artist Jim Speake, ASCAP award winning songwriter Garry Novikoff, television actor and cabaret performer Adam Shapiro, and other surprise artists. Artists subject to change.
Tickets for the Victorian Tea are $25 per person and include entrance to “Music at the Mansion” performance. Performance only tickets are very limited and are are $10 per person.
