Tomorrow November 23: A food pantry where people can come and pick up food and whatever they need for Thanksgiving.

 

Bloomfield High School

Senior citizens Thanksgiving eve dinner, 1:00-3:00 pm

Coordinated by the BHS the Key Club.

Bloomfield Civic Center Winter Food Drive (Bloomfield Recreation Department, Human Services Department, United Way of Bloomfield and local food pantries)

Drop off at 84 Broad Street, Bloomfield

Advent Workshop, 12:00-3:00 pm 

Arts and crafts, Care packages for the troops and wreaths with fresh greens. Refreshments and a holiday sing-along at 3:00 pm

“We come in contact with so many wonderful families on a daily basis and it really tugs at your heart when you see people struggling to make ends meet,” said Michael Sceurman, Director of Recreation in Bloomfield, said in an email to Patch. 

“The Bloomfield Recreation Board of Commissioners and staff members would like to give back and support our residents in need.  We have so many volunteers that help us coach teams throughout the year; it's our turn to give back!”
