Body Found In Search For Missing Swimmer At Ocean County Lake: Report
Breaking: Authorities searched Lake Shenandoah Friday night and Saturday after a report of a man in distress who disappeared.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — A body has been found in Lake Shenandoah in Lakewood, where authorities searched Saturday morning for an unidentified man who had been seen flailing his arms there Friday evening, according to a report.
The Lakewood Scoop reported the body was seen floating in the lake early Sunday morning.
Lake Shenandoah is a 48-acre lake in Lake Shenandoah County Park, off Route 88 and New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood. The lake is surrounded by a walking path and has piers and boat rentals for fishing or just enjoying the beauty of the lake.

Authorities began searching the lake Friday night and searched Saturday morning, according to the Ocean County Sheriff's Department, but no trace of the mystery swimmer was found.
The Asbury Park Press reportedthe search Saturday ended around noon. It began after a citizen's report to police about 5:45 p.m. Friday of seeing the swimmer go underwater and not resurface, the Asbury Park Press report said.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office, in a post on Facebook, said that as of Saturday evening no one had been reported missing.
The Lakewood Scoop is reporting the body is that of a middle-aged male.
