Condo Fire Closes Route 35 In Brick (Videos)
Videos show smoke billowing from the condominium complex on Wednesday afternoon.
BRICK, NJ — Firefighters are on the scene of a blaze at the Ocean Club at Mantoloking condominiums on the barrier island in Brick Township on Wednesday afternoon.
Brick Township police issued a Nixle alert that Route 35 northbound is closed in the area of the fire until further notice.
There are six units involved in the fire, the Asbury Park Press reported.

The Ocean County sheriff's office said the closure is from 8th Avenue to Falls Street.

The Lakewood Scoop tweeted that Lakewood firefighters are providing mutual aid for Brick. They were among multiple fire companies that responded with equipment and personnel to assist Brick, according to reports and radio transmissions.
