Truck Fire Partially Closes Parkway In Brick

BRICK, NJ — A truck fire has closed most of the northbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway on Thursday morning in Brick, state authorities said.

The fire is south of exit 91, in the area of Chambers Bridge Road, according to 511nj.org, the state Department of Transportation's traffic site.

The NJDOT said three lanes are blocked in the area.

The fire was causing a backup of at least 3 miles on the northbound side, according to the NJDOT.
