Donations to Bedminster's Dayna Morales are being given to the non-profit aimed at helping returning veterans.

Donations to Waitress Going to Wounded Warrior Project
After Danya Morales' story about a customer who refused to give her a tip went viral, many people stepped forward to show their support for the ex-Marine.

Some stopped by the Gallop Asian Bistro, on Route 202, where Dayna works to show support in person, while some have sent or dropped off monetary contributions— according to a report on NJ.com, the monetary donations to Morales have topped $2,000 so far.

But Morales, a Bedminster resident, told the website lbgtqnation.com that she's not keeping the money:  She will be donating the money to the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit aimed at helping wounded veterans transition to life back home.

Anyone else interested in helping to Morales' support for the Wounded Warrior Project can drop off the donation in person at the restaurant, or by sending it in the mail to Gallop Asian Bistro, 793 Route 202, Branchburg, N.J. 08876.
