Firefighters Battle Truck Fire In Somerset County

A pickup truck erupted into flames on Sunday afternoon prompting Green Brook and Warren volunteer firefighters to respond.

GREEN BROOK, NJ — A pickup truck erupted into flames on Sunday afternoon in Green Brook.

On May 19, the Green Brook Volunteer Fire Company and Mt. Bethel Fire Company were called to a car fire on Warrenville Road.

Firefighters found a pickup truck with its engine and passenger compartment fully involved, said Green Brook firefighters.

The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported.
